The Island of Vis is a beautiful island known for its numerous preserved beaches, sea caves and picturesque natural environment. It was unreachable for many years to its visitors so it kept its natural beauties and now is an ideal place for resting and exploring.
On the western coast, in a deep bay, is placed a town and a harbor Komiza which has many sandy and pebbly beaches. The most visited is the pebbly beach Gusarice on which is placed a reconstructed church. Here you can rent deck chairs and parasols, and lush trees above the beach provide you natural shade.
On the eastern coast you can find many other beautiful white beaches, and if you are looking for a complete privacy go by the coast of the island which is hiding many lonely bays.
